Sunburst Arch Shutters in PGA Village, Port St. Lucie

This PGA Village home in Port St. Lucie mixes an arched window with tall openings, a dining room facing the pool and several standard-height windows. The owners wanted the arch treated properly rather than boarded across the bottom, and they wanted the dining room, bedroom and living spaces to share one finish.

We built a custom sunburst arch with louvers radiating from the centre point of the half-round, then matched it to wide-louver panels throughout the rest of the home using the same finish and frame profile. Curved, tall and wide openings each kept their own proportions while sharing one architectural style - which is the difference between shutters that look specified and shutters that look bought. All real wood, built in Palm City.
