Bedroom Sliding Door Shutters in Tradition, Port St. Lucie

A wide sliding glass door in the primary bedroom of this Tradition home let in early morning sun and offered no privacy, but vertical blinds had been noisy and the owners still needed to use the door every day. Anything covering the opening had to move out of the way easily and stand up to daily handling.

We installed full-height bypass plantation shutters on a track: the real-wood panels slide past one another so the door stays usable, then close across the full opening for privacy and sun control. Adjacent bedroom windows received matching panels in the same finish and louver size, so the slider does not look like a separate installation. Built in Palm City and fitted to the door's exact opening.
