The wife, a Florida native, has a background in event design and hospitality, having worked with prestigious country clubs in Boca Raton and stadiums like the Miami Dolphins and Dunkin’ Donuts in Massachusetts. President
Rachel leverages her extensive expertise in customer service, home design, and project management to lead the company. Her diverse background includes roles in operations and marketing at a South Florida financial firm, and event management for West Boca Country Club and the Miami Dolphins. Rachel's leadership has been pivotal in enhancing APS's reputation for quality plantation shutters. A committed community member in Palm City, she balances her professional life with family time and local exploration. Her innovative vision and dedication to excellence are key to APS's success.
Tobias Neitzel
Vice President
Tobias brings over 15 years of experience in engineering and manufacturing large-scale industrial machinery. He is acknowledged for his dedication to quality, having earned accolades from both German and American engineering bodies. His career is centered on enhancing quality and leading major projects. With a foundation in carpentry and construction, Tobias is a certified millwright and holds an engineering degree from the University of Düsseldorf. His technical expertise boosts APS's production of plantation shutters, ensuring exceptional craftsmanship. Alongside his wife Rachel, he steers the company with a focus on innovation and customer satisfaction.
Mike Cochran
Sales
Mike brings decades of sales experience and a deep-rooted passion for small businesses. As the brother of the owners, and a proud member of a family full of entrepreneurs, Mike understands the value of hard work, customer relationships, and attention to detail. Before joining the family business, Mike built his career in automotive sales and served as a lead in a specialty warehouse that housed custom furniture for renowned designers from around the globe. His background has given him a keen eye for quality craftsmanship, and a strong appreciation for exceptional design. Today, Mike is excited to focus his energy on helping grow the family business, guiding customers through the process with expertise, integrity, and a genuine enthusiasm for beautiful window solutions.
Kayla Perez
Customer Service Admin
Kayla is the welcoming presence of our company, overseeing both the office and customer service operations. She brings extensive experience in customer service, scheduling, and hospitality. Before joining APS, Kayla worked for major logistics companies, where she managed high-volume order scheduling and coordination. She excels at multitasking, ensuring that deliveries, installation dates, and in-home consultations are always current and occur on schedule.

Say hello to Summer, the heart and soul of our showroom! This sweet golden pup isn't just the owner's dog-she's the official APShutters mascot, professional tail-wagger, and customer happiness expert. Every day, Summer shows up tp work with a smile (and maybe a squeaky toy), ready to welcome visitors with her signature charm. Whether she's lounging by the front desk, offering moral support during design decisions, or sneakily asking for belly rubs, Summer makes every trip to our showroom a little brighter. Josh is an exceptionally talented wood workshop technician with many years of carpentry experience. He brings joy to APS and is constantly engaged in building projects. Having been with APS for more than 17 years, Josh has significantly influenced the development of the company and our professional manufacturing capabilities and processes. In his leisure time, Josh enjoys fishing, kayaking, or spending time with his family.

George contributes over ten years of expertise in woodworking and field construction to the team. Before joining APS, George served as the installation manager for a major window installation company, overseeing installation crews and managing all facets of on-site construction. His background equips him to ensure our shutters are installed correctly and with the utmost quality and precision in our facility.
Terry M.
Shutter Artisan
Terry brings over 30 years of expertise in master carpentry. Throughout his extensive career, he has worked in highly skilled manufacturing settings, creating custom cabinets for Learjet and overseeing a 35,000 sqft high-precision wood manufacturing facility in Arizona before joining APS. He joined APS in 2007 and has played a key role in transforming our shop from a small garage into what it is today. In his spare time, he enjoys constructing stage sets for his daughter's theater productions.
