Sunburst Arch Shutters for a Jupiter, FL Home

A half-round window above the bathtub was the feature the homeowners loved most in this Jupiter house, and the one nothing seemed to fit. They wanted to keep the arch visible while still gaining privacy, and they wanted the rest of the home - dining room, home office, bedrooms, living room and pool-facing windows - to match rather than look like a separate job.

We built a custom sunburst arch shutter with radiating louvers sized to the exact half-round opening, then carried the same real-wood finish, flat frame profile and wide louver size through every other window in the home. Coordinating the specialty piece with the rectangular shutters is what makes a sunburst read as intentional architecture instead of a one-off. All panels were made in our Palm City shop for this specific house.
