Arched Window Plantation Shutters in Jupiter, FL

This Jupiter home was built with arched windows, French doors and several wide window groups - the kind of mixed openings that off-the-shelf blinds and shades cannot fit without hiding the architecture. The homeowners wanted privacy and real control over the Florida sun in every room, but they did not want to square off the arches or end up with a different window treatment in each space.

We measured and milled custom real-wood plantation shutters for every opening, including arched panels cut to follow the true curve of each window rather than covering it with a rectangular frame. French doors received slim fitted panels, and the rectangular windows throughout the home were built with the same flat casing, wide louvers and finish, so the whole house reads as one design. Every shutter was manufactured in our Palm City shop and installed by our own crew.
