Sliding Glass Door Shutters for a Palm City, FL Home

Multiple sliding glass doors open onto the pool deck and patio in this Palm City home. The owners wanted shutters rather than vertical blinds or drapery, but the doors are the main route outside and had to stay easy to use. They also wanted the smaller windows in the living room, bedroom, bath and utility spaces to match.

We installed wide bypass plantation shutters across the sliding doors on a track system - the panels stack aside for pool and patio access, then close into a full wall of adjustable louvers for privacy and Florida sun control. The remaining windows throughout the home received custom shutters in the same real-wood finish and louver size, so the doors and windows read as one continuous installation. Built and installed by our own team here in Palm City.
