Floor-to-Ceiling Bedroom Shutters in Palm City, FL

Client Requirements
This Palm City homeowner needed real privacy in the master bedroom without giving up daylight or the view. The room had floor-to-ceiling windows flanking the main opening, and several of the windows were not simple rectangles, which ruled out standard blinds and off-the-shelf shades. They wanted one cohesive window treatment that would work across every opening in the room, hold up to Florida sun and humidity, and look built into the house rather than added on.
What We Did?
We measured every opening in the room and built custom plantation shutters sized to each one, including the irregularly shaped windows that standard blinds could not cover. Running full-height panels across the floor-to-ceiling windows on both sides of the main opening draws the eye upward and makes the bedroom read longer and taller. The louvers tilt closed for complete privacy at night and open wide during the day, so light and view are controlled from inside the room without cords or fabric. Every panel was manufactured and installed by our own crew at our Palm City, Florida shop, the same team that measured the job.
