Kitchen and Patio Slider Shutters in Riverland, Port St. Lucie

Two wide glass door openings - one off the kitchen, one to the patio - carried most of the afternoon glare in this Riverland home in Port St. Lucie. The doors are in constant use, so whatever covered them had to clear the walkway completely, and the owners wanted to keep the outdoor view available rather than blocking it.

We fitted full-height bypass plantation shutters across both openings. The panels ride on a track and slide past one another to open the doorway completely, and with the louvers tilted open the view stays and the glare does not. Real wood in a matching white finish keeps the kitchen and patio doors consistent with the rest of the home. Manufactured in our Palm City shop and installed by our own crew.
