New-Construction Shutters in Avenir, Palm Beach Gardens

A new build in Avenir, Palm Beach Gardens, with a contemporary interior and a lot of glass - broad living-room windows on the lanai side, paired bedroom windows, narrow entry glass and low horizontal windows in the baths and showers. The owners wanted the shutters in before move-in, and they wanted one clean look across window shapes that varied widely from room to room.

We measured the home during construction and built custom real-wood shutters for every opening, including the horizontal shower windows that most window treatments cannot handle in a wet area. Clean white frames and wide louvers keep the look consistent with the home's contemporary lines, and because every panel was made to the as-built measurements, the shutters sit tight to the openings with no filler strips. Installed by our own crew ahead of the owners moving in.
