Tall Window Shutters for a Palm Beach Gardens Home

Tall windows flank the beds and seating in this Palm Beach Gardens home, along with a corner living-room arrangement and one narrow bathroom opening. Tall openings are easy to get wrong - panels that are too long rack and sag, and a single full-height louver section becomes awkward to operate. The owners wanted balanced proportions and shutters that would still be easy to use every day.

We proportioned each tall panel with the rail and louver layout the opening actually needed, so the shutters stay square and operate smoothly at full height. Flat casing and matching wide louvers tie the bedrooms, living areas and the narrow bath window together, and each window still adjusts independently for privacy and strong afternoon daylight.
